Denmark Announces New Working Holiday Quota Period for Chile and Argentina
Key Point
- Denmark opens its second Working Holiday quota period for Chilean and Argentinian citizens on 1 September 2025
Working Holiday Quota Update for Chile and Argentina
Denmark will begin its second quota period for the Working Holiday program for citizens of Chile and Argentina on 1 September 2025. VFS Global centers in Santiago and Buenos Aires will open for appointments at 9 AM local time.
The annual quota allows for 150 residence permits, split across two periods: March–August (up to 75 permits) and September–February (up to 150 total). Permits are granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once the quota is filled, no further applications will be accepted until 1 March 2026. While SIRI refunds its processing fee for rejected applications, fees paid to VFS or local representations are non-refundable.
