Australia: Pre-Application Process for Select Travelers

Overview  

The government of Australia will introduce a visa pre-application ballot process for the capped Work and Holiday (Subclass 462) visa program for China, Vietnam and India from 2024-25. According to the government, the ballot process aims to manage demand, ensure fairness, and streamline application processing times for these countries. There will be a ballot charge of AUD 25, and it will be updated annually.
