Saudi Arabia Visit Visas Extension

Effective 28 July 2025, Saudi Arabia launched a 30-day initiative allowing individuals with expired visit visas to apply for an extension to facilitate final departure. This applies to all visit visa categories and is contingent on payment of the required fees and fines.

To benefit from the initiative, applicants must submit their request through the “Tawasul” service on the Ministry of Interior’s Absher electronic platform during the designated grace period.

The Directorate encourages eligible individuals to act promptly and take advantage of this limited-time opportunity to regularize their status and exit the country in compliance with immigration regulations.
