October 2025 Visa Bulletin

The U.S. Department of State released the October 2025 Visa Bulletin, introducing notable retrogressions in employment-based categories, maintaining current status for EB-5 set-aside visas, and launching Diversity Visa allocations for DV-2026 

USCIS Filing Guidance 

For October 2025: 

  • Employment-based applicants must use the Final Action Dates chart. 
  • Family-sponsored applicants may use the Dates for Filing chart. 

Applicants should check their priority date against the relevant chart to determine eligibility to file Form I-485.

October Visa Bulletin Key Highlights: 

  • India and China face significant regressions in the EB-2 and EB-3 categories. 
  • EB-5 Set-Asides (Rural, High Unemployment, Infrastructure) remain current across all countries. 
  • EB-4 Religious Worker (SR) category is unavailable pending congressional reauthorization.
