New Zealand Expands AEWV with Seasonal Visa Options
New Zealand will launch the Global Workforce Seasonal Visa (GWSV) and Peak Seasonal Visa (PSV) on 8 December 2025, to help accredited employers meet short-term labor needs during peak seasons.
These visas are tailored to specific seasonal roles and offer flexible pathways for skilled and entry-level workers.
The GWSV allows up to three years of stay for experienced seasonal workers, while the PSV supports lower-skilled roles for up to seven months, with a mandatory four-month break before reapplication. Both visas exclude partner or dependent sponsorship and require job alignment with genuine seasonal demand.
