Mexico Reinstates Electronic Visa for Brazilian Nationals
Mexico announced that Brazilian nationals may once again apply for an electronic visa (Sistema de Autorización Electrónica – SAE) for air travel to Mexico for tourism or business purposes.
According to the announcement, the reinstated process allows eligible travelers to obtain authorization online without visiting a consulate.
The update reverses the 2022 policy requiring Brazilian nationals to obtain a consular‑issued visitor visa prior to travel.
Travelers may now complete the e‑Visa application through Mexico’s official electronic visa platform and receive authorization digitally.
