Ireland now allows minor dependent children of employment permit holders to work from the age of 16 under Stamp 1G, replacing the previously restrictive Stamp 3. Between November 2025 and November 2026, the Irish authorities will transition existing Stamp 3 holders to Stamp 1G, granting them legal work rights without requiring a separate permit.
