Hong Kong: New Visa Process for Certain Foreign Nationals

  • Hong Kong will relax its visa policies for nationals of Vietnam, Laos and Nepal applying for multiple-entry visas for business and travel purposes beginning 25 October 2023 

Overview 

The authorities of Hong Kong will relax its visa policies for nationals of Vietnam, Laos and Nepal applying for multiple-entry visas for business and travel purposes beginning 25 October 2023.  

As a result, nationals of these countries who are working for companies registered in Hong Kong can apply to the Chinese Visa Application Service Centre in Hong Kong for multiple‑entry Mainland visas that are valid for two or more years. These applications will receive priority processing.  

What are the Changes?  

Effective 25 October 2023, Hong Kong relaxed steps in the visa application process for nationals of Vietnam, Laos and Nepal. According to the announcement, these measures have been taken to facilitate additional cooperation between the countries.
