New Working Holiday Visa Quotas Announced for 2025
Denmark announced that a new quota period for Working Holiday visas for citizens of Chile and Argentina will begin on 1 March 2025. VFS Santiago will open for appointments on 3 March at 9 AM (UTC -4), and VFS Buenos Aires will open on 5 March at 9 AM (UTC -3).
The annual quota for Working Holiday visas is 150 residence permits, divided into two periods:
- Officials can grant up to 75 permits from March to August.
- Officials can grant up to 150 remaining permits from September to February.
Officials issue permits on a first-come, first-served basis. Once the quota is reached, no more permits will be granted until the next period begins on 1 September 2025. If applications exceed the quota, the processing fee to SIRI will be refunded, but fees paid to VFS or local representations will not.
