Canada: Construction Worker Permissions in Toronto

Greater Toronto Area Construction Workers  

The government of Toronto, Canada extended its policy that grants permanent residence to out-of-status construction workers in the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). The extension will remain in place until 31 December 2024, or until 1,000 principal applicants, including their families, have been granted permanent residence.
