The government of Belgium will prioritize the processing of visa applications submitted by Turkish and Syrian nationals who have relatives in Belgium. In addition, Turkish and Syrian nationals legally residing in Belgium will be permitted to submit an application to extend their period of stay in the country.

What are the Changes?

Belgium’s government has decided to give priority to visa applications from Turkish and Syrian citizens who have family members residing in Belgium. Furthermore, Turkish and Syrian nationals who are living in Belgium with legal status will be able to request an extension of their stay in the country.
