Revised I-129 Form for Nonimmigrant Workers

Welcome to the U.S. immigration news briefing from Corporate Immigration Partners, PC (CIP PC). The team is here to provide the latest updates on policy changes affecting corporate immigration. On January 17, 2025, USCIS released a revised edition of Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker. On this date, USCIS will only accept Form I-129 forms with the new edition of January 17, 2025. 

Form I-129 News  

USCIS released a revised Form I-129, Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker, incorporating changes from the H-1B and H-2 modernization final rules. This new form replaces the April 1, 2024 edition. Starting January 17, 2025, USCIS will only accept Form I-129 with the January 17, 2025 edition date. There is no grace period for this change. The new form is available on the USCIS website.
