USCIS to Conduct Second Round of Random H-1B Cap Registration Selections

U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) announced that it will conduct a second round of selections for previously submitted and properly filed fiscal year (FY) 2024 H-1B cap registrations.

USCIS initially conducted a random H-1B cap registration selection in March 2023. The filing period for those selected registrations was from April 1, 2023 to June 30, 2023.

Now, USCIS has determined that it must conduct a second round of selections to meet its congressionally mandated numerical allocations.

USCIS stated it will begin the second round of random selections soon. Once it has completed the selection process, USCIS will notify of selected registrants through petitioner myUSCIS accounts. The selection notices will include details of when and where to file the H-1B cap-subject petition.
