Singapore: Education Screening Companies for the Employment Pass

Overview  

The government of Singapore selected 12 background screening companies responsible for providing services for employers when verifying employee educational qualifications in support of a new Employment Pass (EP). Verification proof can be obtained through any of the following methods listed on MOM’s website: 

The 12 select companies will begin providing background screening on 1 September 2023. For additional information on the screening process and submission process under the EP, check here.  

What are the Changes?  

The government of Singapore announced 12 companies that will assist employers in completing the education verification process for employees applying for an EP. Education background validation will become a mandatory step with the rollout of the Complementarity Assessment (COMPASS) framework under the EP application and qualification process.
