Quebec Reopens Skilled Worker Selection Program for 2025

Overview
The Government of Quebec has officially reopened its Skilled Worker Selection Program (Programme de sélection des travailleurs qualifiés or PSTQ) is following a transition from the previous system in late 2024 and a temporary pause in invitations.
On 5 June 2025, the Ministère de l’Immigration, de la Francisation et de l’Intégration (MIFI) announced that invitations to apply for permanent selection under the PSTQ will resume in July 2025.
To be eligible for an invitation, individuals must have submitted or updated their declaration of interest in Quebec’s Arrima portal on or after 29 November 2024, the date the new program came into effect.
