Ontario to Unveil Digital Employer Portal for OINP
Ontario will launch a new employer portal under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) on 2 July 2025. The portal will replace the current paper-based process for the Application for Approval of an Employment Position.
This employer-led platform will allow employers to submit employment position details online before applicants register an Expression of Interest (EOI). Key features include secure document uploads, simplified application tracking and seamless integration with My Ontario.
The following dates will apply to the system rollout:
- June 20–July 2: No new EOIs can be created for Employer Job Offer streams.
- June 21–22: Existing EOIs will be automatically withdrawn.
- June 27–29: Full system outage across all OINP streams.
- July 2: Employer Portal opens and employers can initiate new EOIs.
Applicants can re-register EOIs through the new portal, and all new EOIs will be valid for 12 months. These changes affect all three Employer Job Offer streams: Foreign Worker, International Student and In-Demand Skills.
